Sheldon's Story...
Howdy yall! It doesn't get much more adorable than me now does it? I'm a precious ball of fluff that's going to be a big ball of fluff when I grow up. I'm a larger mixed breed pup that is looking for just the right family. I'm very well socialized and I love to play. My brothers and sisters and I were born in pretty much the middle of nowhere after our mom was dumped by some nere-do-wells (that deserve a major flea infestation if you ask me) but some really nice people found us and brought us to the rescue where we've been taken VERY good care of. We're all cleaned up and healthy now and will be available for adoption the weekend of March 6th. At that time we will be 13 weeks old (we're 11 weeks right now) and we're just the right age to start working on our potty training and house manners. We're all very smart and look forward to learning about this great big, beautiful world and all of its smells with our new forever families!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheldon, a Hagerstown Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
