Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tucker is a handsome, neutered male border collie just under one year of age. He weighs about 40 pounds. He has very expressive ears that move with his moods...or yours!
He is very affectionate with people and loves other dogs. We were told by his previous owner that he is not good with cats.
He was surrendered to a rural southern Idaho shelter because his previous owner is disabled, lives in an apartment and Tucker is more dog
than he could handle
Tucker is housetrained and crate trained, but has had no obedience training. He is a nice dog in a raw state and would greatly benefit from a formal obedience class with his new human. He is very smart and just needs guidance. We feel he could excel at just about anything. He is motivated to please and is looking to bond with someone!
This dog loves to play with other dogs and can even get his foster mom's grumpy old border collie to play. He is a very joyful dog.
Tucker loves to play with toys. He enjoys the toy box and all of it's contents in his foster home. He is also food motivated and easy to work with because of this.
Tucker needs daily exercise and mental stimulation and a person committed to helping him reach his full potential. Also, like most border collies, he is triggered by motion and needs work on his self control and focus. He likes to chase things that move!
Tucker's adoption fee is $150 and includes neuter, vaccinations, collar and ID tag.
