Saint Valentina!'s Story...
Saint Valentina aka Valley came to us on Valentine's Day! So we had to name her appropriately. She is around 6 years old, crate trained, completely housebroken. She is a sweet, laidback and gentle soul who does well with other dogs and children. She doesn't particularly like to share food with other dogs so that does need some training/separation. When we first got Valley she was having issues walking, so we took her straight to our vet! He said there was some sort of trauma suffered and that she has nerve damage. Now she is on medications to make sure she is comfortable and it shouldn't really have any lasting impact other than an awkward gait... However, if it gets any worse she may have to be a tripod but dogs are so resilient that we aren't too worried about her! She is looking for a home of her very own, one that will keep her safe from suffering any additional trauma! She is spayed, UTD on her vaccines and microchipped! Her adoption fee is $120.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saint Valentina!, a Phoenix Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
