Magneto's Story...
Age: 7 months

Personality: Inquisitive, Playful, Friendly

Litter trained: Haven't tried.

Favorite exercise activity: Floor time and playing with his brother, Professor Xavier.

Favorite toys: Anything he can chew on

Favorite games/other activities: Magneto will come to you or follow you for a treat!

Favorite treats: Yogurt drops

Companion animal required: Yes, is bonded to his brother Professor Xavier

Other animals this pet has been exposed to: Magneto lives with his brother Xavier and they are best friends! He has also seen birds, and seems calm around them.

Other info for prospective adopter: Magneto is very friendly, but is finicky about how he is picked up. He seems to be more comfortable when both he and his brother are out of the cage at the same time. He is more shy than his brother. Magneto and Xavier are super sweet, and run to the cage door when you enter the room. They are both very smart, and would be great candidates for trick training, as they are very treat-motivated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magneto, a St. Paul Rat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat for sale in St. Paul, or seeking a Rat from a breeder in St. Paul.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Paul already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Paul breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat breeders who help with Rat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Paul paves the way for another one to be saved.
