Simone's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Simone's Story...
Simone looks like a collie/ golden retriever mix with an Alaskan malamute face. She has a collie blaze down her face and a wonderfully silky coat.

She is an absolutely beautiful girl with a mellow and sweet temperament. Simone is house trained, great with other dogs big and small, and wonderful with children. There isn't a nasty bone in her body!

Simone would make a great family dog – she is quiet and well mannered, but only about a year or so old, so she’s also playful and fun.

Simone would be better with children over 5 or 6, because she is a big girl -- she doesn't know her own size, but her sweetness reminds me of Nana in Peter Pan.

Simone will make a great family companion for an active household. She can also be a real lover -- in fact, she is lying beside me on the cool floor as I type this .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simone, a Poway Golden Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Collie for sale in Poway, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Poway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Poway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Poway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Poway paves the way for another one to be saved.
