You’ll probably find Wade curled up in a tiny ball, but when he wakes up you can’t miss his massive frame lumbering towards you for some cheek rubs. Wade was originally part of our TNR program, but ended up at Treehouse after a sweet couple searching for apartments found him abandoned nearby. They saw the friendly potential in Wade’s calm, cool, and collected demeanor and so do we! Although he can get overwhelmed in his current shelter situation, he would love nothing more than to be the newest, and largest, addition to your family. Wade was born around 2010 and is positive for FIV*.

*Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) causes a weakening of the immune system in cats. It's often compared to human HIV, but FIV is not transferable to humans or other species. It is also difficult to transfer to other sterilized cats, and we believe that mixed FIV and non-FIV households can work if managed properly.
