Suki's Story...
Born September 2014. Approx. 25 lbs. Puppy Power! I am one smart cookie who is looking for her own personal forever home to grow up in. You see, I am still very much a puppy. I will do all those crazy & fun puppy things like run, play & make you laugh, but again, I am a puppy & I have a lot to learn. Puppies are projects so I will need you to teach me all those wonderful things that all good dogs should know. I am smart & I just know I will make you proud of me. I also know I will love you forever if you give me the chance. www.BayAreaPetAdoptions.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suki, a San Leon Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in San Leon, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Leon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Leon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Leon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Leon paves the way for another one to be saved.
