My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dodger has been with us since early fall 2014. He only weighed in at 58 lbs and was so weak he could barely walk.

Dodger now weighs 95 lbs and is healthy as a horse!

Dodger is now ready to find his forever home. He has been socialized and has learned that people are not all bad. He has learned to show affection and be an amazing canine companion.

He is however a large strong boy that needs some guidance and training to bring in the absolute best in him. He is looking for a home with no other male dogs. Also no cats please.

Dodger is an alpha male and still needs to be fed separately from other dogs, as when a dog has known starvation it takes them a long while to not eat like they will never be fed again.

**Dodger is Heartworm positive and will be sent home with slow kill heartworm treatment**
