Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Twig is a dainty little dog, about 1 year old and only 6 lbs, a little on the thin side. For some reason, in photos she looks heavier than she is.
We are unsure of her breed mix. Twig may be a Dachshund Chihuahua hybrid (popularly called a Chiweenie). Then again, considering her delicate features, she may be part Italian Greyhound. She has a short, non-shedding coat.
Twig is as sweet as can be. If you are looking for a gentle companion, she is your girl. She loves to be held and to cuddle. At home, she will seek out your lap and if you let her join you in bed, she will try to bury her head in your neck. Twig is house trained using a doggie door or a potty pad, and she will sleep in a crate. She also gets along with her foster mates and will share a dog bed. She likes being warm and enjoys sunbathing on a sunny day. Twig is so quiet in the home it was quite a surprise when she began barking at a larger dog when on a lap at her first adoption event.
