Straight from Dogpatch to you, may we present Daisy Mae. Like the character in Li'l Abner, Daisy Mae is voluptuous, dare we say a full-figured gal. But that just means there is more of her to love!

This sweet dog loves to be held and cuddled. A bit on the shy side still, Daisy Mae is showing more of her loving personality every day.

According to the volunteers who have walked her, she is a good girl on walks. And speaking of exercise, she could use some. Daisy Mae is not a sprinter, but prefers to amble and smell the roses.

She gets along with other dogs and truly enjoys us humans. However, because she is still learning to trust, her ideal home, a least in the short term would be in a household with adults and no children under the age of 12.
