My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Austin is a very handsome, three-year-old, energetic and happy, 55-pound male brindle and white pit bull terrier-mix with warm brown eyes looking for a loving guardian.

Austin knows basic commands and is housebroken. He listens well and wants to please. Austin is very trainable. He is full of kisses and tail wags and after he’s had enough exercise, he is content to hang out on his dog bed to play with his toys.

Austin absolutely adores people and just loves being around them. He’s playful, loves to fetch, and enjoys leashed walks. Austin is great on leash but he also loves to run so would be great with someone who enjoys jogging. Austin prefers to hang out with female dogs around his own size and is probably not good with cats.

Austin is a superb dog and will make an awesome canine companion for someone willing to put in a little training and love.

Austin is very healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested negative and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $200 benefits other rescued dogs. Austin is currently kenneled in West Chicago, Illinois.
