My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a pair of male chinchillas looking for a new home. Their names are Clive & Amethyst. These chinchillas are both around 3 years old, they were born approximately May 2011. While they are both standard grey in color, you can tell them apart. Amethyst has a rounder face of the two.
These males are good chinchillas. They do well with being handled and petted. They have never bitten. These two are active and curious chinchillas. They are always running on their saucer, and coming to the front of the cage to check out what’s going on. They do not bite.
These chinchillas would make good “first chinchillas” for someone who’s never had chinchillas before.
These chins are a pair and must be adopted together. Please don’t ask to adopt just one of them.
These chinchillas will come with some food to start you out (4 pounds of Mazuri pellets), two goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. They will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet, fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire, and provide proof of cage. If you are unwilling to do these things, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
