Bunny's Story...
Bunny is hard to photograph because she's constantly swirling! She's always making small circles, swooshing against your legs, reaching up, and trying to get as close as she can get. She's hard to ignore and who would want to? She adores people and likes dogs almost as much. She's totally comfortable with any dog - no matter what size or personality. She can learn to get along with another cat but really, she's happier if she's the main attraction. She's litter pan trained and has received all her vet services (Felv/Fiv negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and examined by a vet). To meet her, please email info@FORrescue.net and complete the cat application at www.FORrescue.net Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bunny, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
