Lester's Story...
ABOUT LESTER -- TALKATIVE, FOLLOWS, LOVES KIDS

I'm a big guy with an exotic look. A laidback Lap Cat, my name is LESTER and I will love on you like crazy! I'm one of those 'talkative' guys; you'll always know what I'm thinking. I like to play and I love catnip almost as much as I love people. I'm a huge favorite with PURRS' volunteers!! I love gentle well-behaved kids; I'm not afraid of a big dog who will mostly ignore me, and I'm fine with an easygoing, non-assertive cat. If you're looking for a SWEET boy with the best purr-sonality, adopt ME!

** Come see me at the Naperville PETSMART (Rt. 59 and 111th)!

WALK-IN adoption hours are 11 - 2:00PM on SATURDAY and SUNDAY at the NAPERVILLE PETSMART. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY DURING THIS TIME.

For more information or to schedule a weekday appointment, email purrsnaperville@yahoo.com or call PURRS at 630-815-4520.

** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lester, a Hillside Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
