My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut (Teacup Chihuahua) and her friend Jelly (Toy Poodle)
both dogs under 5lbs

intake 18th November 2014

Peanut is such a precious baby!
And Jelly finally walked steps up and down all by herself! She is so happy and curious.

Someone neglected and abused these 2 dogs physically and mentally on purpose, on a daily basis and over many years.
Our best guess about what happened is that some low-life person kept both dogs, without exercise or wholesome dog food over many years in a tiny cage/box and body deformed itselfs .
Sadly most of the damage to body and soul is irreparable because of old age.
The condition is so bad that we can't say how old they are but for sure over 13 years.

How you can see in Peanut's before/after picture, she is doing great and we are happy about every single day with her although we are surprised about it.

Peanut doesn't have any teeth left but she LOVES Pedigree Puppy Can Food and it has to be Puppy can food because our little Miss Stubborn doesn't want to eat anything else.

We have both dogs together in a puppy pen in our living room with puppy pads.
I felt sorry about the small space but they are so happy and joyful, also they are not housebroken at all and still very weak, to let them run around other dogs, even other small seniors is too dangerous in such a bad health condition.

It is not possible anymore to train Peanut or Jelly and of course they are not leash trained but they LOVE to sniff and walk around in a fenced yard.

>>>It is not possible to let them go through the whole adoption process BUT I was hoping to find a kind sponsor, who would like to help us with puppy pads, soft baby blankets or food.
Or who knows, maybe someone is willing to offer Peanut and Jelly a loving Foster Home with a hospice environment, where the 2 seniors have a place to finish their journey in comfort and loved.

Please send us an email/call for more information about Peanut and Jelly or follow us on Facebook

Little Note:
I wish I would have the money to offer a reward for the owners name and address at Alamogordo Animal Control.
This heartless piece of ... human has to have a neighbor, family or friend.
We should give this person the chance to explain in front of a judge why it was necessary to bring so much harm and pain to innocent pets and I would feel much better to know that there are no other pets still suffering.

Don't just feel sorry, report animal cruelty!
