My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This good boy has been waiting a long time for a home. Sweet Shadow is his name! He's a big 2 year old Boxer mix that was found as a stray by the Avon Police Department and brought to Friendship. Shadow is one of the friendliest boys around but very strong. He will need a strong experienced owner. It is best if Shadow goes to an adult household or one with older kids and no other pets. Shadow is a graduate of the Prison Training Program, is a fully trained dog and just an all around happy guy. He loves the staff and volunteers at the shelter but it takes him awhile to warm up to new people. Once he knows you, he's a very playful and affectionate fellow. Please take it slow if you come to visit. Shadow will definitely brighten up your days and be a loyal companion.
