Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR A PRIVATE PARTY. PLEASE CONTACT THE FOSTER MOM DIRECTLY FOR MORE INFO ON THIS DOG.
From Lucy's foster mom:
This is Lucy! She is a 2-3 year old spayed Border Collie/Aussie mix that is looking for a new home. Her previous owner
asked me to find her a new home because their older female dog was picking fights with her. Lucy weighs about 40 pounds.
Lucy is extremely smart, willing to learn and biddable. She is both food and toy motivated. She would make a great agility,
obedience and/or rally dog.
I have done a sheep instinct test and it appears that she does have instinct. She would be great for a novice looking
for a dog to get started.
I don't know how she is with cats but she is great with kids. She previously lived with 4 children, the youngest was probably around 8 or 9.
She is not crate trained but at this point she has been completely trustworthy in the house for as long as 10 hours. I'm sure with time and commitment, crate training can be done but since she has been trustworthy, I have not pushed crate training.
If she goes to a home with other dogs, I would suggest that the dog/s be male. She is uncomfortable around female dogs and therefore
placement in a home with males would be best.
