Queen's Story...
Good day everyone. I am Queen. I am 8 years old and 42 pounds and all my medical care is up to date. Somehow I found myself lost and then I was taken to a shelter in Tuscaloosa. I don't mind telling you this was very scary for me and I am still feeling rather frightened. I believe AGB is a good place for me but I still can't get over being a little nervous. Because of this I curled up on the floorboard of the AGB volunteer's car and rode that way all the way to Birmingham. The volunteer was very nice to me and all the AGB people are saying kind things about me and treating me well. I think I just need a family to call my own and give me the love and attention I had earlier in my life to make me feel safe again. I know if the right family adopted me I would be a happy, carefree best friend to them in no time at all. Are you looking for a sweet Golden lady to treat like a Queen? If so, I am just the girl for you. Until then I will just be a lady in waiting. I look forward to meeting you soon. Your dear friend, Queen Please visit me at www.adoptagoldenbirmingham.com or call

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Queen, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
