Buttercup's Story...
Buttercup! "I need you (I need you) more than anyone, darlin!" That's how the song goes, right? Buttercup is an absolutely darling dog in search of a forever home. She's one of those ready-made adoptable pets—just open the door and let her in. This six-year-old gal is housebroken, loves to be in the company of people of all ages, and gets along with cats and other canines. She is a great medium-sized dog who currently weighs 32 pounds, but is working on shedding some weight to get in shape for bikini season. (Aren't we all?) She has a great disposition, always smiling and wagging her tail. If you need Buttercup (and we promise she won't let you down), come meet her at our adoption event on Sunday afternoon at the Piscataway Petco.

If you're interested in adopting Buttercup, please first read about our adoption process under the *ADOPT* tab at www.happypawsrescue.org. Then, complete an adoption application found under the same tab and email it to happypawsrescue@gmail.com. Buttercup will be at our adoption day events on SUNDAYS from 12-4pm at the Piscataway, NJ Petco. Thank you for your interest in adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttercup, a South Plainfield Norfolk Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norfolk Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in South Plainfield, or seeking a Norfolk Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in South Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norfolk Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Norfolk Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
