Summer's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Summer's Story...

This is Summer. She is the largest of four tabby sisters who are about six months old now and were saved from euthanasia. She is very sweet and outgoing. She is adaptable and gets along very well with all the kitties in the cattery. She loves to lounge in the sun and groom her sisters. She has brown tabby markings mixed with gold and looks very much like her sister, Cinnamon, but is much larger. Can you save this kitty? * Our kitties are: Spayed/neutered, combo tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids, up-to-date on vaccines, treated for parasites, and most have microchips. Our adoption fees are low. Most are $125. Our kitties over three years old are generally $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Summer, a Germantown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
