TIGGER's Story...
My name is Tigger!

I am a spunky guy with lots of attitude. I LOVE to play and will keep myself entertained all day with my favorite toy. I'm looking for a home where I can be myself and do my own thing. I was rescued from an abusive home, so it takes me a while to trust people, and I'm not sure I ever fully do. I don't mind a little petting, but some days, I'm not in the mood for any. I am very curious and love to watch the world going on.

If you are interested in meeting me, please come visit me at the NBAR Adoption Center located at 2502 Rochester Rd., Royal Oak MI. They are open from 4-7P Wed-Fri and 12-4P Sat-Sun.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TIGGER, a Royal Oak Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Royal Oak, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Royal Oak.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Royal Oak already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Royal Oak breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Royal Oak paves the way for another one to be saved.
