Darla's Story...
Hello, my name is Darla. I am a 1 year old female pomeranian/pekingese mix. I weigh bout 8-1/2 pounds. I am spayed, current on all of my shots, heart worm negative and I have a micro chip.

I am the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I enjoy sitting on the couch snuggling up with my human and having my soft fur stroked.

I like to sleep in bed with you, but am also crate-trained and potty-trained. I get along great with everyone including children and other dogs.

All I want in life is to find a family that will love me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla, a Norman Pomeranian/Pekingese puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Pekingese for sale in Norman, or seeking a Pomeranian/Pekingese puppy from a breeder in Norman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Pekingese breeders who help with Pomeranian/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norman paves the way for another one to be saved.
