My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bob Hope
4 year old Male Champagne Tonkinese
MUST BE ADOPTED WITH BROTHER, BING CROSBY

Bob is a large (16 pound) purebred Tonkinese who came to us with his brother Bing. These two are not only biologically related but also the best of friends and must go home to the same lucky household.

Like most Tonkinese, Bob is elegant, affectionate, mischievous, intelligent, vocal, and outgoing . Even a stranger is immediately presumed to be a friend; when someone comes near, Bob will do a somersault, roll to his side and display his belly for rubbing. Not quite as ingenious as Bing, Bob will not actually open a cupboard, but he’ll certainly take advantage of the chance to explore once that door is open. Both boys love to chase each other through the house and observe their domain from high places. They would also probably escape to the outdoors, given the opportunity; their new guardians will have to be careful to keep them safely inside.

Bob has soft, short fur and enjoys being brushed. In fact, he has a fetish for hair and will try to eat the hair from your hairbrush if you leave it lying around! His previous owner clipped his nails about every two weeks, and his new owner should probably do the same. Bob is a little fidgety when he is being clipped; getting a friend to help might be a wise move with this fellow.

Bob likes his lap time, adores attention, and will sleep with you if you let him. His foster mom believes he and Bing would do be best as only pets and with someone who is home a lot. They are bonded and must be adopted together.

Bob loves wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect. He also loves classical music but would, no doubt, be gracious about expanding his musical horizons. He is being fostered in Elk Grove, near Sacramento. For more information, please contact Karen Pahler at aby_lover87@yahoo.com.
