Waffles is a 2 year old terrier mix who weighs 11 lbs. He came to us having been seriously abused by his former owner. They had left a collar on him since he was little and grown into his neck and injured him. He was also very underweight. He is now all healed up and ready for his forever home. He is a tiny boy with a big, loving heart, despite his former trauma and abuse. He’s not timid or shy and loves giving kisses and snuggles. He is housetrained and walks well on a leash and does fine in a crate as long as he’s got a treat or toy to distract him. He’s a good boy and doesn’t get into trouble when left alone. He loves playing fetch. He gets along fine with the other dog in the house but would also do well as an only dog. He tends to want to be pack leader so he needs a firm hand to let him know he does not have to step up to the plate and he can just enjoy being a dog. He is a great guard dog and a very very well behaved little dog. This beautiful boy deserves to live the rest of his life in the lap of luxury and love. His gratitude will warm your heart and your home.
