Amelia's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Amelia's Story...
Amelia is a 1-2 year old spayed female Pitbull Mix (37 lbs) that was rescued from a high kill shelter. Amelia was in danger of being put to sleep due to overcrowding. She is safe now and ready to find her forever home.

Compact, low-riding love bug! Amelia is so very much fun to watch. She wiggles and jiggles and rolls and loves to put on a show. Amelia can certainly entertain herself but she would much rather have another human or doggy join in the fun. Amelia is a playful girl who can easily switch on her softer, calmer side and simply hang out. She is a seeker of laps and destined to earn her Master-Snuggler merit badge.

If interested in meeting Amelia, please go to http://www.tlcrescuepa.com/adoption/ to fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amelia, a Kimberton Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Kimberton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Kimberton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kimberton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kimberton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kimberton paves the way for another one to be saved.
