Emmie Lou wants to love you! Emmie is an amazing, loving and energetic lass! She was in a high kill shelter hidden away from the public for a month. A nice lady named Marta took pictures of her and a bunch of other "Code Red" dogs. Dogs at high kill shelters are labeled Code Red after they're due out dates, because they can be euthanized at any time. Emmie had a guardian angel on her shoulder and she was spared. She is now loving life in her foster home in Sunny Florida. Emmie is good with kitties and all the people she meets. She is learning that being around other dogs can be a lot of fun. Emmie must not have been socialized as a pup, because she barked and snapped at the dogs in her foster home when she first arrived. Now she's more playful, albeit a little unsure of her standing in the pack. Emmie is very submissive with her human friends. We are working on crate training. She is fullly vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. Emmie is such a sweet girl, and her markings and body type are unique. See more pictures of Emmie here.
