Allie, 5 yrs, pending home's Story...
This dog has a pending home. See our other adoptable ones.

To start the adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. Please read. There are a lot of questions answered on our site and personality details below about each dog listed again only if folks read.

If the dogs are listed here then yes they are still available for adoption, They will stay listed until we find them the right homes with our adoption paperwork all finished. Thanks. Those marked pending home by their names are on a test drive in their new homes so see if they work out. Once they past their test drive only then we do mark them as adopted.

Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our pre-adoption form on the site above. You can also read about our adoption process, our requirements needed to adopt a hunting dog breed from us and our paperwork needed to adopt from our rescue. This is a short adoption process but please read first. Thanks so much.

There is an adoption fee of $300 for this dog. No phone calls or emails please. Please see our web site for more details om how we adopt BEFORE emailing.

This is Allie and in rescue through no fault of her home. Her people had to move and could not take her with them. She is not an abuse case and has been a well loved and pampered girlie in her last home. She is a smaller tweenie sized girl about 12 pounds.

Allie just turned five last December, very sweet and just a nice dog. Longhair females do not last long in rescue so she has a possible pending home already. If that home falls through I will update here.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allie, 5 yrs, pending home, a Spokane Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Spokane, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Spokane.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spokane already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spokane breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spokane paves the way for another one to be saved.
