Eleanor Rigby and her little babies - Eskimo, Eeyore and Esther were advertised on "Craig's List" as free kittens when FOWA was called to step in. These babies were too young to be adopted and still needed to stay with their mother so they went into FOWAs foster care. Eleanor Rigby is a little reserved but very sweet.. OUR MISSION
FOWA Rescue is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) (nonprofit) rescue organization based in Wayne, NJ serving the North Jersey area, dedicated to the welfare, sheltering and placement of homeless animals. We are committed to educating the public about the humane treatment of animals, preventing animal cruelty and overpopulation and promoting animal welfare.

OUR VISION
To end euthanasia of adoptable animals so one day, no healthy companion animal will be euthanized for lack of a home, space, or compassion.

Come Meet Our Pets...

11 am - 3 pm Every 2nd Saturday of the Month
at PetValu, 756 Bloomfield Avenue, West Caldwell, NJ

12 pm - 4:00 pm every Saturday and 12 p.m.- 3 p.m. every Sunday at PetSmart, 244 Passaic Street, Garfield, NJ

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees vary, but in general dog adoption fees are $200 and up and cat fees are $125.00. These fees cover all medical costs such as routine shots, microchipping and spay/neutering of dogs as well fostering.

To qualify you must be over 18 and approved in the adoption process.
