Candy's Story...
Yep, I am! Sweeter than candy, Candy, a sweet new companion you are just waiting to meet! I was born in 2005, but you won't believe how active and talented I am! I'm a black Lab mix girl with so much life and love in me! If you ask me to find a ball, I will do just that! Then once I give it to you to toss, I'll fetch and return it to you every time, even if it bounces up high or I have to run far to get it! If there's snow around, I might just pause to scarf down a mouthful of snow, or roll around in it to cool off. You see, I'm very smart, and I love to play, play, play just like a pup! But I'm housetrained and well-mannered, of course! I'd love to meet you soon, so ask to see me, sweeter than candy, Candy! I'm in foster care, so please contact MaxFund at 303-595-4917 to set up a meeting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Candy, a Denver Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Denver, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
