PRIM's Story...
Prim is an adorable, sweet, well behaved little kitten. She came to the shelter as an owner turn in on Feb 21st and is currently available for adoption. Animals are left at the shelter quite often for a variety of reasons (rarely is it ever the poor animal's fault), The previous owner did not leave this kitty's name, so volunteers are calling her Prim. She is reported to be good with kids. She is up to date with shots, spayed, and combo-tested negative. She will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Prim is in cage 655 and her ID is 572717.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. Why Adoption is a Great Option

PRIM, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
