Phoenix's Story...
Hi! I'm Phoenix,
I am a sweet 6month old Egyptian goddess. At first I am shy but once I warm up, I truly love being around people and other dogs. I am good with kids, love toys and to chew on nylabone's. I am crated trained and working on my potty training.
Here is my story:
I was surrendered to the shelter at a mere 19pounds, completely emaciated, almost every bone in my body to include my spine, hips, ribs were showing. I was diagnosed with hook worms, treated for them and began my serious of distemper/parvo vaccines, was given my bordetella, microchipped and heartworm checked which was negative. My foster family has been feeding me regularly and I'm quickly gaining weight. I am now CLEAR of hookworms, have gained over 10pounds and feeling wonderful!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoenix, a Colonial Heights Pharaoh Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pharaoh Hound for sale in Colonial Heights, or seeking a Pharaoh Hound puppy from a breeder in Colonial Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colonial Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colonial Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pharaoh Hound breeders who help with Pharaoh Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colonial Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
