Hello! My name is Will and I am a handsome 2-3 year old Beagle boy weighing about 26 pounds and looking for a Beagle loving home to hang my hat! Here in my neck of the woods (Tennessee), Beagles are a dime a dozen. Although we had a beauty named Miss P win the Westminister Dog Show “Best in Show” this year, we still are a dog that is often left behind by careless and obviously heartless owners. We have the heart of a lion, the devotion of a love struck teenager and the temperament of Santa Claus. I am looking for a family who will give me a secure and fenced yard to roam in and smell all the delights of the great outdoors, but who will not let me eat EVERYTHING that I want to eat at every meal…who will teach me how and when to hit the door to go potty outside…who will take me on hikes, walks on the beach or the lake…who will give me a child or two to be best friends with…and who will never, ever leave me behind to fend for myself. You have no idea how close I came to losing my life at the dreaded shelter in my small town. I am a jewel, and a diamond in the rough. I am a “Best in Your Life” kind of companion and friend.
