Fink's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sacramento- Fink is an adorable little chihuahua puppy with the cutest ears! I am guessing he will be about 5 pounds full grown. We estimate he was born about 12/13 but who knows (he might even be older). He currently weighs 1 lb 12 oz and they need to be 3 pounds to spay and neuter, so hopefully by the end of the month we can get these cuties on their way to a new family. Originally they were du mped in a box in Bakersfield, they were tiny and adorable and I bottle fed them (until Henny took over the job of wet nurse). Fink likes to grrrr and nibble noses and plays with the other puppies as well. They are pretty social little guys, they are off to a good start and need families committed to keeping them safe and socialized. Because of their tiny size, we will not be considering homes with small children for them. Also, any potential homecheck in a house would require the fence to be immaculate!

He will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and wormed. You can find out more about our process at:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fink, a Sacramento Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
