Skittles's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Skittles's Story...
Skittles is a three year old tiny chihuahua/min pin mix who wants nothing more than to be your cuddle buddy! He's extremely affectionate and loves to be held and pet. He's interested in meeting and playing with other dogs his size, too! Skittles has a jaunty pony prance just like a min pin - he always looks like he's ready to take on the world.

Skittles would love a home with older children and maybe another small dog to play with. He doesn't take up much room - do you have any to spare?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skittles, a Oak Park Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
