My past life wasn't the best, my owner moved and left me out in the barn, she stopped by every two weeks or so and threw food down. I am really thankful that she let The Kitten Nursery take me though so I could have a better life. But that doesn't bother me any more, I have moved forward, so let me tell you a little bit about myself.
My foster parents think that I am a really nice boy. You see, I am a little bit shy, I like to hide and come out when I am ready, but trust me, if you sit with me, I would be more than happy to come out to get cuddles. I am a really big love bug. I love to have my belly rubbed. I also really love catnip, don't worry, you don't have to try too hard to win me over.
Sometimes I go to the adoption events at Soldans in Okemos on Sunday from 12-3pm, unfortunately I just don't show well because I like to hide in my covered cat bed. But I promise you that I really am a sweet boy. I am super gentle, I would never hurt a fly.
I get along well with other cats, but I will need a docile cat. I have been around a lot of cats that like to beat me up and I have been told that I am too nice to fight back. I sort of just take it and that's not good because then I won't be happy… it's not fun to be beat up when you are such a sweet boy! I think I would like a home without kids, they make me a little nervous because they run around a lot and make a lot of noise. I will thrive in a family that will give me lots of time and attention. I just need someone understanding to give me a chance and let me tell you, you will NOT regret it.
When the room is quiet or it's just you and me, I will come out to get cuddles and explore. I really love to get cuddles and when we have bonded well, I would be more than happy to sit on your lap or be held. So what do you think? Do you think you have a quiet home to give a boy like me a chance? Eventually I could be a wonderful companion that will sit on the couch with you watching tv. I just need that right fit. Please consider giving me a chance, my foster parents think my adopters will be very lucky to have me.
