In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their
pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page.
In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner.
Contact information for these 'adopt from owner' pets will be provided.
In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be
dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack.
Fritz was pulled from an abusive home where he was severely neglected and abused. He was very sick when he came and had previous eye infections which left him partially blind. He can see well enough to get around, has no trouble with steps, shelves, jumping, running and playing. He needs to be slowly introduced to new accommodations by starting out in a small area/room and slowly allowed to explore more areas a little at a time. He is leukemia negative, neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on his shots. He is 16 ,months old, loves other cats and dogs and is good with children.
