for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Theo's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Theo's Story...
Hi there! I'm Theo! I am a 48 pound shepherd mix born in 2010.

I am a sweet affectionate boy who loooooves other dogs! I hope to live in a home without kids, and I need someone who is patient and willing to understand that sometimes I find people frightening. I would like someone who possibly has another dog for me to play with but does not have a lot of strangers coming over. You have to earn my trust but once you do, I'm your man!

I am eager to learn, but can sometimes feel uncomfortable in new situations. Due to this type of stress, it would be necessary for us to meet just outside the shelter and accompanied by someone I know well. But believe me, I am a great boy and well worth this bit of extra effort!

I am available for foster care or adoption. Please contact the MaxFund office at 303-595-4917 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Theo, a Denver Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Denver, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
