Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bart is a 4 year old beagle mix. He weighs about 17 lbs. Poor Bart was very scared at the shelter and tried to hide when he was first rescued. Because of his fear, we do not recommend Bart for a home with small kids at the moment. He is a good boy who walks well on leash without pulling and he is not a barker. He’s good with other dogs. Bart is a little timid with new people but is warming up to foster now and starting to trust. He may have been abused, either verbally or physically, as he initially flinched when approached but is starting to cautiously accept petting. He loves his dog bed and his crate and responds well to having his own security places to go to. He is very new to rescue so we don’t know too much about him yet. He is eating well and doesn’t appear to have any issues with people being around his food bowls. We will update more information as we know it.
