Here's what the humans have to say about me:
At 10 years young, Boo was dumped at a high kill shelter by the only people he had ever known. As soon as we met him, he stole our hearts and we vowed to find his true forever family. Sadly, we think Boo was surrendered because he has a condition known as dry eye, which was left untreated and resulted in the loss of his vision. In addition, when Boo came into rescue, our vet noticed crystals in his urinary tract, so he is now on prescription food to control the formation of urinary stones. While Boo could technically be considered a special needs senior, the only part of that term that really applies to him is special. Both of his conditions are easily managed and relatively inexpensive and Boo is one spry little Pug who has the spirit of a much younger boy. Boo plays, runs and snuggles with the best of them and he has no issue finding his way around, especially to the kitchen or the dinner table when food is involved. In fact, blind or not, Boo has been known to steal an egg roll or two, earning him the nickname of the Stealthy Ninja. This 15lb. gremlin is currently living with other dogs, including his best friend, a 100lb. lab. He also loves kids, so would be thrilled to join a family with little ones. While Boo absolutely adores his foster family, this little snarffler is eager to find a loving home where he can spend his golden years. Boo is housebroken, crated trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.
