Tinkerbell's Story...
NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this pet personally. Be sure to contact the foster or organization directly from the information listed below.

Tinkerbell is a beautiful 19-month old brindle with white Pit Bull Terrier blend, weighing in at about 55 lbs. At a recent adoption event, she did extremely well and was a great relaxed passenger riding to the event. Once at the event, Tinkerbell was very social and friendly with everyone, especially other canines. She enjoys playing with other dogs. She already knows sit and down. With her love of treats plus given her young age, she is capable of learning much more. Tinkerbell walks very well on a leash with/without the use of a sensation harness.

Tinkerbell would do best in a home with another canine . Children over 8 would be recommended due to her young age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinkerbell, a Vista Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Vista, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
