Meet lovable Harley. He was picked up as a stray, so we don’t really know his history. He is a big white DSH cat with orange markings. Very loving, very friendly, very sociable. He mixed right in with all the other cats in the foster home with no problems.
Harley LOVES attention. In fact, he is an attention hog! He is very demanding when he wants something and gets jealous when other kitties are getting petted. He will force his way in so that he gets petted, too. Not only does he force his way in, but he tells you about how neglected he is the whole time he’s getting his back scratched. He is a very vocal cat and not afraid to let you know if you aren’t putting the food out fast enough or not petting correctly.
This handsome boy would fit in anywhere. He doesn’t have a problem with dogs and warms right up to people. I think he would be fine with or without other cats in the house. He is very calm and sweet and while I have not seen him interact with small children I think if he were properly introduced he would be fine with them. He is a big cat, though, so a little child is not going to be able to pick him up and carry him around…which is not necessarily a bad thing. 
Harley is well-behaved. I have never found him on the kitchen counters and he is not food aggressive. He will follow us around as we put food in the bowls and then he is usually the last cat to claim a bowl. He has been great with using the litter box, too. Just an all-around great cat!!
If you can give this wonderful, sweet boy the home he so deserves he will be a fantastic addition to your family. His adoption fee is $110.00 and includes all shots, neutering, testing, and micro-chipping. If you would like to meet Harley he has been known to hang out at the Petsmart in Sunset Hills on occasion or you can call or text me at the number below to arrange a time to meet.

About St. Louis Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.

We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
