Coco is a sweet, gentle 15 pound lover boy. He is only 4 years old. He loves to snuggle and have his beautiful multi-color coat caressed. He does the happy dance and has the cutest little howl as he greets his foster mom when she first gets home from work and when it is feeding time. Otherwise he is a pretty quiet boy, although he does enjoy gentle play. Handsome Coco is affectionate and loves to be next to his person. He likes to sleep next to his foster mom’s feet while she works on the computer. He likes everybody and every dog and cat. Coco is house trained and is learning to walk on a leash. He enjoys being outdoors with his person or playing with his foster siblings, weather permitting. Coco would be happy as an only dog or with other pets, as long as he gets his attention and loving! He is good with well-mannered and respectful children. Coco has some skin/allergy sensitivities that are easily treated with diet and medication, but it is a lifelong condition and his adopters must be committed to providing the necessary treatment for the rest of his life. His foster mom finds his needs easy to manage. He is sure worth it!
Coco is otherwise healthy, neutered, current on his vaccinations, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $320.00 plus $23.28 sales tax for a total of $343.28. His foster mom would like his adopters to live within a reasonable driving distance of the Twin Cities and would also encourage them to attend the Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion held in June every year.
