Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sarge is an adorable, smart, sweet 9 month old puppy who is looking for his forever home. While Sarge knows basic commands, has basic manners, and responds well to verbal correction, he will need a home who will provide him the ongoing consistent, predictable, patient discipline and training a boy his age needs. After all, Sarge wants to grow up to be an ambassador for the breed! Sarge is a fast learner and wants to please his humans. He loves to earn praise! Sarge is very playful and especially loves to fetch sticks and toys. He thoroughly enjoys walks and does well on leash for such a young dog. He even enjoys carrying his favorite stick or toy on his walks.
Sarge has visited the dog park on several occasions and has loved all the dogs he has met. He is very respectful of other dogs boundaries and messages, he does not feel the need to be in charge. Sarge is fostered in CT and having a blast with his temporary family. He has a strong play drive, so cats and younger children may not be appropriate for this pup. When he first arrived in his foster home he did not know what a small dog or cat was but his patient canine foster sister has helped him to understand and now they play. He still needs to work on cats and small children. Contact for an application is Beth at kaya1227@comcast.net
