My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rusty is a 1.5 year old Collie/Australian Shepherd mix that was recently adopted and returned. This good boy also recently graduated from the prison training program and knows basic obedience, commands, manners and proper leash walking. Rusty's owner said he did well with his training. He would signal to go outside and loved playing. Rusty was very friendly with his new owners and visitors that came to the house. There were two children in the family ages 4 and 7 and Rusty was not bonding with them. The family stated that Rusty would be much happier in a home with older children. He lived with other dogs at the shelter and was fine with them. Rusty has never been around cats. Stop by soon. Rusty would love to get back into a loving home ASAP.

If you have older kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting Rusty, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
