Not long ago Fuzzy Pawz was alerted to a very sad situation, 4 cats whose humans had both passed suddenly (within months of each other) were in desperate need of a place to go. The family was able to take the oldest of the 4 into their home but was unable to make room for the other 3. When we read the note we knew we had to do whatever it took to find these 3 babies forever homes. After telling the family that we would place Jack, Percy & Jo Jo into foster care and find them homes the caregiver said: “My heart just hurts that I can't keep all of them but to know that they will go somewhere full of love and that I get to watch their journey to a forever home just makes my heart full.” We knew we had made the right decision and upon meeting the 3 boys we were enchanted with all of them.
Purcy is a 2(ish) year old domestic shorthair and is very sweet but pretty scared by all the changes in his life; but who can blame him. Despite being afraid in his new surroundings he is such a sweet and gentle boy who just wants a stable home and someone to pet and love him.
Purcy does well with other cats and even likes cat friendly dogs. He is a big boy, around 15 pounds we’d say, just more of him to love! He is a stunningly beautiful “morris” cat with a great orange coat with lots of markings and the prettiest golden eyes ever.
He loves to snuggle up in his cat bed to snooze so a nice comfy cat bed in his forever home is a must. He is an easy going gent who will make someone a nice companion. Since he is a bit scared of new situations and surroundings we feel he would do best in a quieter home that will give him time to adjust.
If you are looking for a handsome man to keep your toes warm and your lap and life full of love then Purcy is your boy. His new home must be able to provide him with windows so he can bask in the sunshine all day, plenty of scratches and of course lots of love.
Purcy is neutered, vaccinated and in good health. Purcy is also declawed in the front.
