Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My dad died a couple of months ago and because nobody would take me into their home, I ended up at the animal shelter. There I was sad and lonely, a senior beagle without a warm bed and someone to cuddle with.
Then my luck changed, I was taken out of the shelter and moved to a foster home. I had a complete physical and my teeth cleaned - I was a new beagle!!
So, are you looking for a cute senior boy beagle? I have some great qualities; sweet, cuddly, don't get into the bathroom trash, don't mind baths, housetrained, crate trained at night, charismatic, know sit and down, I come when called, loving, friendly, can be playful and I don't act like a senior beagle.
Note from foster mom: Gopher enjoys being around people and up for anything. He enjoys cuddling on the couch or following foster mom/dad around the house. Gopher gets along great with his foster sister and his foster brother is learning to accept him. He would be a great second dog or an only dog for someone who is home most of the time. Gopher is not a constant barker and well behaved.
Gopher is crated during the night and does very well alone. He loves to be talked to, held, hugged, petted and in general appreciated. Gopher is a great family pet and gets along with men and women. If you would appreciate Gopher's special qualities, please complete an application for adoption.
