Shadow is a sweet puppy at heart whom recently turned 5 year old (Valentine’s Day is his Birthday). Shadow is a Blue or Silver color with natural ears. He came to live with us after my Grandfather passed away last year. Unfortunately my wife is allergic to him and breaks out in hives after touching him. With his big fluffy pillow, Shadow sleeps in his crate all night long and regularly returns to it throughout the day to take naps if he is not outside sunning himself on the deck. We have a three story home and he has shown no problem navigating the stairs. Shadow is very athletic and loves to go outside and play fetch. However, he doesn’t like the cold and although he is great with using the bathroom on command, he is eager to come right back in the house, especially during snowy weather. Shadow is great on a leash and loves to go on walks; he “Prances” like a Tennessee Walking Horse. Shadow loves to show you his babies (his stuffed toys) which he loves to chew and listen to squeak, as well as tennis balls. We have two Labrador Retrievers with whom he gets along with quite well. Shadow has also received praise from Four Paws Kennel as a great dog whom played well with others when we kenneled our dogs in the past. Shadow has also lived with two cats whom which he never had any issues. Shadow has not shared a home with children before, but when he has hung out with me in our front yard, all the neighborhood children found him to be just a huge “Teddy Bear”. As for medical issues, Shadow is a healthy dog but does have a food allergy. After months of trial and failure, we have identified a style of Nutro Dog food that he loves to eat and does not bother him.
