Meet Moose!

Moose is the loveliest of dogs, despite being stuck in the shelter for a few days shy of 8 whole months (!!!). That's right - Moose was actually in the shelter for 8 months and not even allowed to come out of his kennel as he was part of an "evidence" hoarding case. Moose and over 100 other dogs were confiscated from a hoarder operating under the guise of a rescue in San Bernardino county. He became available last week and we couldn't wait to scoop this boy up and provide him a loving foster family.

Moose has the gate and nose of a true hound dog. He moves effortlessly and cannot wait to get his sniff on. He is very playful with other dogs and quite affectionate with humans (he's a hugger!). Moose plays fetch and socce and is very good about dropping the ball/letting the ball go as well. He is submissive with other dogs, even around toys (however, he does not want to share his food - but I don't either!).

Moose is a slim 50 lb, but once he settles into a routine and decompresses he could easily be 60 lb. Moose is great in his crate and loves to lay in soft beds. He is very strong and unsure about walking politely on leash, but that is something we are working on. Moose is very smart and already knows his basic commands.

Moose would love a doggie sibling or a home where he can continue to socialize with other pups. Please consider adopting Moose!
