Santorini's Story...
Hi my name is SANTORINI and I am as warm and filled with sunshine as the Greek island that I share my name with. My coat is soft and orange and my pink nose is as cute as a button. I am a very SPECIAL boy because I am mostly BLIND. Many months ago I had bad eye infections and had to have two surgeries on my eyes. The vet was able to save my eyes but my vision is very limited. However that doesn't stop me at all. I love to PLAY, enjoy YUMMY TREATS, and my favorite activity is SNUGGLING. I love cuddling with you on the bed or on a fluffy cat bed. I have a KIND SOUL that appreciates LOVE and ATTENTION so much. I would do best in a small to medium size home where my food and litter will be easy for me to find. I can be an only cat or can live with other cats. I am neutered, UTD on shots, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Santorini, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
