Sidney VG's Story...
This little guy is the runt of the litter, but he has enough spunk to make up for it. He loves to play with you or cuddle in your lap. He also loves to give lots of puppy kisses. He is gentle in nature and prefers to be indoors and cozy. He is only ten weeks old, so you will be able to train him exactly the way you want. Because of his young age, he is not potty trained yet, but he and his brothers have learned to use an area in their pen and to go outside to potty. He has been cared for in a loving home with his brothers, mom and one other dog. He gets along with everyone. He has been eating puppy food for 4 weeks now. Sidney has had no health issues, is neutered, and has had his first round of shots and deworming. He is ready to find his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sidney VG, a Schertz Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
